Doug started out his journey in the accountancy profession at the age of 16 for a two partner accountancy practice in Kidderminster, achieving multiple awards for his performance and development in the job and at college. Having now been in the profession for 17 years Doug’s network in the local business community is ever growing and he is fast becoming one the most recognised advisors across the Wyre Forest. With his client portfolio consisting of various sectors and trades he has developed extensive knowledge on how businesses operate. Doug plans to utilise his skill set of empowering people and building key relationships to help progress Wyre Talent in something very special. In his spare time Doug enjoys many sports, including football and cycling but most imprtantly loves spending time with his wife Amy and two young boys Jude and Vinny.

From an early sales career, Ben transitioned into residential care supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This experience outlined the importance of an individual’s life journey and how it can be shaped into a positive focus with the right support. From there Ben has spent a decade working in learning & development, playing an integral role in supporting with some of the UK’s largest household names. Predominately shaping apprenticeship strategies and delivery programmes, Ben however, developed an in-depth knowledge & skillset across all funding streams. With a naturally inquisitive mind Ben has found himself looking to push the ‘norm’ in terms of learnt delivery, constantly looking for more engaging platforms, resources & tutors to impart material. Establishing The Strive Group has enabled Ben to create environments where everybody can thrive and achieve their potential. Working together can enable us to develop inclusive workplaces that will see both organisations and its employees flourish. Ben lives in Worcestershire, with his partner Louise and daughter. A competitive sportsman and aspiring adventurer.

Andy’s career in procurement began in 1999, supporting an IT procurement team where he developed his negotiation and contract management skills. Following on were a variety of senior buyer and category management positions across the Midlands with his most recent, as Strategic Procurement Lead in a team recognised at both the CIPS Supply Management and World Procurement Awards for functional transformation. At heart an analyst, Andy loves to create new tools and presentations to maximise effective communication and successful outcomes. May 2019 was a big turning point, Andy finally decided to scratch the itch of going freelance and giving up over 20 years of permanent employment and resigning from Coventry Building Society. Three months later and he secured his first interim role with National Grid and has also launched two other new businesses. www.yourprocurement.tools is a very exciting new joint venture with a great colleague and friend since he started working in Procurement back at Npower. Faye and Andy talked about developing a tools & advisory service for procurement professionals, for almost as long as they have known each other and they are keen to share their knowledge and experience with the future star performers in their industry. The other venture is very different – www.yourboatibiza.com – is a collaboration formed by Andy, his wife Sally and great friend Rich who met in their apartment block 3 years ago when they purchased their own little part of the White Isle. Having rented a few boats over the last few years, Rich finally convinced them to invest in a boat and launch a broker company and YBI was born.

Anthony Williams is a Chartered Surveyor with a degree in Business Economics and a Masters degree in Surveying. With 15 years’ experience in Commercial Property, Anthony specialises in acquiring and managing multi-let industrial estates and commercial properties with added value potential. Anthony is director of multiple property companies including Property Plus Consulting Limited, Goold Estates Limited and Norton & Proffitt Limited, a town centre regeneration joint venture between Goold Estates and St Modwen Properties Plc. Anthony has been a significant shareholder in many of the investments and developments acquired and undertaken including Beecham Business Park, Red Mill Trading Estate, Lakeside Business Park, The Stamp Factory in Walsall and Langdon House in Swansea. He was also instrumental in acquiring a 2 acre site in Droitwich for Hillgrove Developments Ltd, for which he was formerly a director, and the subsequent sale to Lidl for a 24,000 sq ft food store. Anthony was born and lives in Worcestershire and has a keen interest in business, property and fitness.
